CARLO GAVAZZI COMPUTING SOLUTIONS ANNOUNCES ENHANCED 500 SERIES OF COMPACTPCI AND VME ENCLOSURES
Carlo Gavazzi Computing Solutions, an innovative leader in electronic packaging and system expansion solutions, announces its enhanced 500 Series of CompactPCI/VME enclosures for industrial and telecom computing systems. Engineered with a durable and versatile open architecture, the 500 Series is an ideal option for control, automated assembly and central office applications in which a traditional ‘whitebox’ computer does not suffice. We are currently offering a limited set of configurations through Carlo Gavazzi Computing Solutions’ unique ‘Quick-Turn’ program.
The 500 Series includes four configurable models (505, 535, 545, and 555), each designed to meet VITA and PICMG backplane specifications. Each enclosure features the redundancy of hot-swappable N+1 power supplies and front-pluggable cooling systems for high reliability and low MTTR. The 500 Series enclosures can be configured for both AC and DC power inputs with a ground stud and ESD jack on the rear I/O panel to meet NEBS requirements. Additional 500 Series features include:
• 505: 18-Slot 6U with 350W power options and 2 12VDC 90cfm fans
• 535: 18-Slot 6U with 350 W power options and 2 12VDC 141cfm fans
